Theodore “Teddy” Goines

Director of Comfort & Joy

Goines Law Office Pup

Puppyhood

Teddy was born on April 2, 2025, and from the very beginning it was clear he was destined for important work - bringing smiles and comfort to everyone he meets. As a mini-golden-doodle, Teddy combines the intelligence and friendliness of his poodle side with the loyal, loving nature of his golden retriever roots. Though he is still a puppy with plenty of energy to spare, Teddy has already shown a natural gift for compassion, quickly winning over clients and staff alike.

Experience

While Teddy has not (yet) attended law school, he has undergone specialized training in sympathy and support. His role at Goines Law is to provide comfort for clients who may be dealing with grief, loss, or the stress of planning for the future. Teddy takes his work seriously - whether that means curling up quietly beside someone who needs a calming presence, offering a wag and a nuzzle to brighten a tough day, or bounding into the room to remind everyone that joy and hope are never far away. As he grows, Teddy will continue refining his skills as an office comfort dog, balancing his puppy playfulness with his natural gift for empathy. He is excited to serve alongside the Goines family and the rest of the Goines Law team, providing the kind of support no legal degree can teach: unconditional love.

Puppy Life

When not working hard at Goines Law, Teddy enjoys long walks in the yard, chasing golf balls, squeaking toys, and spending time with his favorite humans - the Goines family. He’s also developing a keen interest in belly rub negotiations and is known to settle disputes with a wag of his tail.
